TotalEnergies startup challenge after emerging one of the best 15 projects from a pool of more than 900 submissions from across the country.
Moonshot Awards (USA) as one of the top 20 startups in the Learning Category from a set of more than 1350 submissions from 88 countries around the world
Silicon Mountain Conference Startup pitch contest, just to name a few.
Took more than 3 international interviews for job roles and fellowships.
From these experiences, I observed one underlying truth. The ability to speak is irrefutably one of the most invaluable skills you can ever develop.

One of my favorite speakers and writer, clinical psychologist Dr. Jordan B. Peterson makes succinctly the case that an individual with the ability to formulate arguments, align their words and thoughts and speak clearly can get anything they want.
In tandem, he correlates this with the importance of prolific writing.
These people write proposals and get funding. Pitch their ideas and companies and receive investment. Talk to crowds and impress people into working with them.
I could not agree more with Peterson’s argument.
After emerging winner at the Silicon Mountain StartUp Pitch Contest, I had the opportunity to speak with the British High Commissioner to Cameroon, Dr. Christain Dennys. In under 30 seconds, I had to communicate my entire startup, highlighting our value proposition. Pause!

In his book: 12 Rules for Life, he dedicates a chapter “Be Precise in your speech” to highlight that the worst choice we can make when faced with a frustrating situation is to ignore or deny its existence. Silence and ignorance (whether intentional or unintentional) are destructive decisions because they prevent us from clarification and articulation.
The solution? Get your words together. Learn to speak.
