I was HONOURED with the Commonwealth Youth Award 2025
Support our vision to empower learners affected by conflict.
Dear friend,
I am incredibly humbled and excited to share that I have been selected as one of the Commonwealth Youth Awardees in the Peace Award category, specifically for Peacebuilding, Education, and Community Engagement. This recognition was awarded to me during a prestigious ceremony held in London, and it is not only for me but also for everyone who has supported e-Mentor and our mission to empower displaced students and youth in Cameroon and across Africa.
As the sole representative of Cameroon 🇨🇲, I feel deeply honored to stand alongside other outstanding changemakers from around the world. The full list of the awardees includes:
🔹 Abongdoh Maluyane Titus – Cameroon 🇨🇲
🔹 Daphine Namagembe – Uganda 🇺🇬
🔹 Emmanuel Cosmas Msoka – Tanzania 🇹🇿
🔹 Fakhar Jabran – Pakistan 🇵🇰
🔹 Hafsah Muheed – Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
The PEACE Award celebrates the work of individuals who are committed to fostering peace, enhancing education, and engaging communities in ways that promote positive social change. This award is a testament to the impact we’ve been making at e-Mentor, where we leverage immersive VR technology to provide access to quality education for displaced students, especially in conflict zones like the Anglophone regions of Cameroon.
You can find more about this achievement in the official announcement here.
