STOP BEING A LOSER!
Leave that version of yourself in 2024.
Close your eyes and imagine it’s December 31st, 2025.
Picture yourself being carried forward in time by one year.
What does that look and feel like?
Where are you? What are you doing?
Do you feel good about where you are and everything you’ve achieved throughout the year?
Now, open your eyes and reflect on the year 2024.
What have you accomplished this year?
Are you and your family in a better place now than you were at the beginning of the year?
Are you truly happy with where you are now and what you’ve achieved?
I’ve done this exercise, and my answer is NO.
I’m not entirely happy with where I am or what I’ve accomplished.
I know I can do better!
After receiving fully funded opportunities to travel to over two countries this year, including Russia and Switzerland, receiving more than four globally prestigious awards, and advancing our work at e-Mentor and Softech Ltd, I am still not entirely satisfied.
If you’re still reading this, I suspect you might feel the same—unsatisfied with where you are and what you’ve achieved this year.
Deep down, you know you could have done better.
You could have worked a little harder.
Stayed at the office a little longer.
Applied for more opportunities and attended more networking events.
Trained harder at the gym and sent more cold emails.
But here’s the thing: in just a few hours, the clock resets. You’ll have another chance to rewrite your story.
Before that, though, make a decision. Decide to leave the excuses, the procrastination, and the self-doubt behind in 2024.’
Use all the lessons you have learned from this year’s failures and setbacks to pave a path for yourself in the coming year.
Decide to stop being a loser.
Leave that version of yourself in the past.
