It's effectively three days into the new year.

What have you already DONE?

What action have you taken?

In January 2023, I released a newsletter titled “Do not set goals”, with the underlying message that although goal setting is crucial, what matters more are your habits. Your actions on a day-to-day basis.

If you have not already set your goals, make sure to do so before this week ends.

More importantly, you need to be intentional about creating a framework that will allow you to act on your goals daily.

Small steps taken in the right direction eventually culminate in monumental events.

“If you do the right thing all the time, you WILL end up in the right place”

For me, one of the best things about working on my goals daily is not that I become successful. It's that I increasingly become the person I actually want to be - the habits, traits, skills, character, and interestingly enough, the stories.

After receiving the Commonwealth Innovation Awards from the president of the Republic of Kenya last November, I was given a VIP reception by the Cameroonian Consulate in Kenya, during which I networked with Ambassadors and high of several African countries.

This experience taught me the importance of storytelling - because all everyone did was tell their stories.

This year, you have the unique opportunity to write the story of your life. But you can only do that by taking daily action on your goals.

By building habits that would slowly craft you into the person you truly want to be.
